We're in South Dakota

Ok... here we are... out here to fight this court fight and Jason calls at 3:30p to see if he can have some visitation with his son while we are here. At first there is no answer. Cathy returns his call at 4:30p and says yeah, but he can't have him over night. Jason was shocked how nice she was. He said he would call when we got closer to where Jonah lives. We get in and are checking into the hotel and Jason calls to say, we are here, we are checking in and where do you want to meet so I can spend time with Jonah. She starts complaining how he just sprung this on her and how he could have made plans a few days in advance! He just talked to Jonah 2 days ago and she never got on the phone. Anyway, we go to pick up Jonah, of course, we have to drive 45min out of our way to get him... but he hasn't had supper yet, so we drive 45min back to town to feed him. We get there, eat (and many know how fast a 4y/o eats), and then drove back. We were 20min late. I know, we made the mistake of not calling and telling her we were going to be late. We pull in to the gas station, she practically yanks Jonah out of the truck, rips the carseat out of Jason's hand and throws them both into the van and spun tires as she sped off with Jonah and his older brother Justin UNRESTRAINED in the van! Justin was even riding in the front passenger seat! And she says FLYING is unsafe!!

On a positive note, we did speak with the lawyer and he sounded like we have a good case. He said one of the emails I had sent summed it up and made our case! Then I told Jason he was so lucky to have me! Then Jason said we made a great team b/c we actually do work on the replies together. I will update after court...
