Aunt Nea is home for a visit!

Jason's sister Jannea is home for a visit before she heads out on vacation. She is a great aunt. All the kids really love her. She is so kind and patient. She is a school teacher, and gets to have most of the summer off. We love it when she comes to visit as the kids really vie for her attention. Of course, she spoils them all rotten! The kids all call her "Aunt Nea" and the twins just think that Aunt Nea is pretty awesome!

Grandpa loves to ask the girls "where's your nose?" and "where's your toes?" and "where's your fingers?" The girls know how to point to their nose, hair, eyes, ears, mouth, belly, toes and fingers. Grandpa John is always trying to come up with something new to teach them!
Of course, Cadie always has a special place in her heart for Grandma Janice. Grandma sure helps us out A LOT! We would be lost most days without her! She is always so willing to jump in and help us anytime we ask her too!
I have a feeling Cadie might have the reddish blonde hair that got passed down from Grandma Janice and Daddy.

Speaking of Daddy... he had to work Monday noc. We have moved our shoes to the bathroom b/c the girls won't leave them alone on the back porch. So, daddy was in the bathroom putting on his work boots and the girls stood outside the door knocking on it and hollering at him. Courtney trying to get daddy to come out of the bathroom. Cadie's turn to try and get daddy out of the bathroom... Then Daddy finally appears and the girls are happy... briefly... until he leaves for work!

Annie was headed out to have ball pictures taken... so I made her practice her smile!


We have both Annie and Sammy in ball this summer and we have been doing lots of running. Not just us, but my parents, and Jason's parents and even Aunt Nea has ran kids to their ball games and practices and pictures! I am glad the kids are playing summer ball, but it sure is lots of running... esp since they are on different teams. I will post game pics soon. I have also been busy with scanning some old pics just for fun. I have a project I am working on and will share soon!
