Construction (Monday and Tues)

So, I am really flunking at keeping up with the construction updates... however, today, it rained and we didn't have anyone here working so I now I can catch back up and hopefully do better updating!

Monday- started with taking off the roof and pouring the gravel in for the floor in the new addition. They leveled out the rocks to prepare for the flooring. Once the old shingles were off they put down black paper to help keep the water out. Thankfully, it didn't rain Monday or Tuesday.

Tuesday began with the crew starting to put the shingles on the existing roof. They also had a brick layer out here to get started on the basement wall. My mom and I had errands to run in Macomb and by time I got home...
the north wall of the basement is up. The new shingles were pretty well done. The basement wall is really coming along really quickly.

Wednesday - no work got done because it rained off and on untill about 11am. They made up for it today though....
