More construction

Construction is full swing around here. They are making great progress... I only wish it was done already... or that we had some where else to stay. They start at 7am and work until about 3 to 4p. So, on the days Jason and I are trying to sleep during the day, it is a big challenge. However, I think it will be really, really nice when it is all done!

The basement now is all framed in... I don't know that they are going to do much else with the basement. I think it is going to be left up to Jason and I to finish. There was already so much spent on other things that had to be done, Jason and I trimmed a little off our budget by not having the basement completed.

This is the outer wall of the northside. This wall will be our closet on the left hand side, and our bedroom on the right hand side...

they took off the outer layer of wall and will eventually break through some of this. Some of it will stay as we need part of the wall for the bedroom that will become the boys' room. there will also be a hallway and the door opening to the laundry room... for now they just got the stuff off so that once the upstairs is framed in and weatherized, then they will open into our house.

Lots of work. I am glad they are making great progress... we still have so much more to get done... but it seems like we are moving right along!
