There has been a fund set up for her so that people can donate to her/her parents. It is on the top right side of my blog. Her parents are very hopeful that she will beat this, but it is going to be a long road ahead of them. She is having surgery today and that is all I know to date. Please keep praying that all goes well and she recovers from this.Ok... so for us.. yesterday, the drywallers were here and hung all the dry wall. I snuck in and wrote the twins names on a stud in their room! Such a silly little thing, but to me.. they are the reason for the addition and I just think their name should always be there! Anyone else watch that show... If Wall Could Talk?
I snuck a few pics...
this is standing in our existing bathroom door looking into the existing bath and the new laundry room that is attached to it now...
This is the door from the laundry area into the long hallway...
This is a pic of the long hallway... I still couldn't completely into the front of the hallway, but as you can see... it is long!
Today they are finishing up in the basement, cleaning up the mess and I believe cutting the windows in the existing bedrooms! What a relief to finally have that done... hopefully by the first of next week the existing rooms will begin to be functional! Our big kids have been staying with family until the windows are cut and the new ones are put in place! Annie's room can get put back together once the window is cut... the boys room will remain out of commission until the drywallers are done sealling the seams.
The bathroom floors should go down next weekend... siding should go on next week...
As for us... we keep waffling about what we want to do. I know what I want to do... but Jason doesn't see my vision yet! ha ha Anyway, I sure hope it does turn out the way I think it will in my mind! We are going to pick up paint and wainscotting this weekend to put in the existing bath and the twins room. Jason wants to have a painting party and invite friends and family over to paint! I wonder how many people will show up for that party! ha ha
When we got home last noc, the girls were wound for sound! They think it is great to sit on our backs now (since we had them do that to Anna) and Jason was giving out piggy back rides last noc!
