My Gazillion Updates!

We are in the full swing of summer around here and the end of the school activities have subsided... so now here is my updates!

Jonah - graduated kindergarten and will be spending most of the summer here. Should be lots of fun... this will be by far the most time he has ever stayed here. Currently, he is feeling a little under the weather as his mom was sick before he came... so hopefully, he isn't catching her virus... and he is just adjusting to being here.

Sammy - had to have his hearing checked again b/c the tubes that were placed in May 2008 were out by Oct 2008 and we needed to make sure there wasn't more fluid build up to cause trouble with his speech. Im happy to report all is well, he is hearing fine and there isn't any fluid build up! YEAH! That means we do NOT have to do surgery at this time and have a THIRD set of tubes placed! HOORAY for us!

Annie - has been keeping herself pretty busy with some of her friends who live close by. I see a summer of this girl NEVER being at home! We are looking into buying a horse for her (her friend's mom said she would board the horse for Annie). Im so excited. She LOVES horses and has them at her dad's place, but it would be nice to have one so close to her home!

The Twins... Cadie had what looked like a hangnail on her big toe. I went to trim it and it bled. I felt terrible... nothing like making your child's toe bleed! What was worse is ... it got infected! She ended up on antibiotics ... AGAIN! This child has taken 5x the antibiotics that Courtney has! Anyway, it is healed now and looks great! However, Cadie continously says... "my toe! my toe! my toe!" a million times in a day! She has insisted on bandaids... current favorite is Scooby Doo! She does leave the bandaids on, but she doesn't really need them anymore... her toe is fine!

Courtney is talking more. Tonoc she said "ni-ce kit-ty" that is huge for her! She has been doing "ut-oh" for a while now. Her other latest favorite is "whassthat?" Up until about 2 weeks ago, she didn't use any 2 words together. Now she is starting to catch on! The speech lady who comes to work with her does very well with her and I see the biggest improvements after Suzanne has been here! Court is probably up to about 20 to 25 words now! This is such huge progress considering in March she could say about 6 words!

We are getting ready for my cousin Jared's wedding, the parade to kick off the soldiers and sailors reunion in Cuba, and spending some time at the pool! We are working on our house and in hopes of getting many of our projects done while we are on vacation. I will be posting more... I swear. I know I keep saying that and my days fly by and I always think ... "oh, that would be a great post" and then I never do it!

So, Im going to be more dedicated! More posting... should be interesting stuff... house projects, the carnival and kids, kids and more kids!
