Sammy

I am waiting for the day when things slow down and Jason and I can relax and just enjoy the kids! This Christmas break has been an eventful one! Annie and Sammy went to their Dads house on Friday. They came home tonoc. When Sam (their dad) called today to see when to bring them home, I told him about Annie and her kidney and how we needed to start the antibiotic. Then he tells me that Sammy had fallen on his had and that my mom should look at it. I had to work today, so after the kids get home, my mom looks at Sammy's hand and calls me at work saying how swollen it is! So, I had to call my aunt, she drove out, picked up Sammy and then took him to ER to have this hand xrayed. I had to stop passing meds to run downstairs and sign Sammy in and then go back upstairs to finish work. The xray showed that he has a hairline fracture! He has limited movement with his thumb. I am so upset that his dad just let it go since friday! He never called and said anything about Sammy hurting his hand and it really makes me mad that he didn't take him to ER! What kills me is b/c Sam doesn't pay child support, insurance or help cover medical bills that aren't covered. His only responsibility is to his child! What is even worse is he could have called me and I would have told him to take him to ER! I have total control over the kids. He doesn't have a say in any of it... so now I really don't understand why he didn't say something sooner about Sammy's hand!

So, that is my excitement for today! Cadie got up this morning and smelled so bad! I couldn't figure out why her urine stunk so bad! When I went to undress her... I found another surprise - she had pooped in the night and it was watery diarrhea... she had leaked out into the crib, it was all over her, and then I had sat her down on my bed and then it was on my bed and it stunk so bad! So, I have had to wash her up this morning, wash all her sheets, wash my comforter and my clothes. Yes, it really smelled that bad! Courtney is still sick. She gets choked when she coughs. I hate it. She doesn't sleep well. I was up with her most of the night. Finally, I put her in bed next to me and we both got a couple of hours of sleep! I hope this illness is over soon!
