Sunday was greated bright and early as Jason called Cathy to meet at 10am (which, she wasn't able to do) so they agreed on 11am. Jason was up at 0530 getting ready to leave. He got to Stuart, Iowa at 1050. Cathy arrived about 5min later. Jason said she ran up to Jonah, picked him up and spun him around. Cathy is due to have her baby April 12. Jason kept thinking her water was going to break... right then and there! He said that when he mentioned to Cathy that she isn't to give Jonah adult strength NyQuil, she said "well, I guess I will just have to get some children's then!" Which, even children's NyQuil isn't recommended for children Jonah's age. Jason went to give her the Claritin and she handed it back like it was crawling with bugs and said, "I don't need that. I have the same thing at home, it's called Benadryl!"
Jason, of course, won't ever say something back to her! I could easily match nursing wits with her! She drives me crazy with the stuff she does! So, Jason asked her about the 2009 schedule we are to be working on and her reply was "you will just have to email me!" He said she then put Jonah in his carseat and buckled him in and took the shoulder belt and placed it behind him! Jason should have said something... but he didn't! She drives 75 to 80mph all the way back home from Iowa... to me, when she went to court to preach safety... how can she even say anything when she does that kind of stuff!
Jason has changed the way he does a lot of things b/c of me and I am always preaching safety!
I pray that there is a very special angel that will look out for Jonah!

UGH! I'm so sorry this garbage is still continuing. I don't know how you stay sane.
That whole thing with the medicine just blows my mind. How can a mother be so careless???
Sorry...I messed up the other comment. Does this woman even have a clue? Who on earth thinks benadryl is the same as claritin? Maybe if she'd keep him on the claritin you'd be able to find out whether he has allergies or something else. I've never seen a mother who's so callous & uncaring when it comes to her children!
I agree with you girls! Me too! She blows my mind and I really, really do try very hard to not put her down, but to me... she does things that put Jonah in harms way and I just can't believe that she is that careless!!!
OMG when ever will she mature.... is amazing!!!
Let's hope she doesn't do with her next baby what she does with Jonah. I hope she learns from her mistakes.

I will also pray that Jonah's guardian angel does double time for him. His "mother" completely freaks me out!
