more drama

Well... where to begin...
John and Janice met Steve (Cathy's husband) and Julie (Cathy's sister) in Stuart, Iowa on Saturday to pick up Jonah. Steve told John and Janice that Jonah was cold and then spiked a temp and so he is now on zithromax.. again. Cathy had taken Jonah to the doctor on Friday and they ordered more antibiotics for him. He is still coughing, he is pale and his appetite is poor. He told John and Janice he was hungry, but then only ate a few fries out of his happy meal. He also took a nap today at John and Janice's. Which, normally, when he feels fine, he doesn't ever take a nap.

I just wish I knew what was going on with him.

Ok, so back to the drama of today...

Jason tried to talk to Cathy on his way to work about Jonah and her taking him to the doctor. She was a complete rip to him. Any question he asked, she answered short and hateful. She ended with "I didn't want him to be sick when he came to your house!"

the kids went to John and Janice's and then Jonah came back here with them (he had spent last noc with John and Janice). We ate pizza for supper.. and he only ate 1 small slice of pizza. Then they played for a while, and he coughed... and coughed.. and coughed... then it was time to get in the shower... which he did. The boys had a little time to play after baths... so they played some more and about 8p I started getting them ready for bed.

After they were in bed, I bathed the girls, and while I was lotioning and dressing Courtney, Cadie was playing with the phone and we heard a "hello"... Annie quickly hung up the phone. I didn't think much of it... I thought maybe she dialed Jason's parents and they would call and ask what was going on. Never heard anything from them.
I called my dad to see if he can help with the twins tomorrow while Jason and I are at the bank. As I was talking on the phone, I heard it beep... but I just thought it was going dead.

Jason calls at 1am to tell me he had a msg on his phone that Cathy had her baby from his mom! I was wondering why Cathy didn't call here or why his mom didn't call here and say something since Cathy had called her. After I got off the phone with Jason...I looked and sure enough, Janice had sent me a msg too! Then I realized I didn't get it b/c it was during the time I was talking to my dad.

So, now I am wondering if it was Cathy on the phone and she was calling to talk to Jonah... or if Cadie did call Janice. There isn't any number that shows up on my caller ID.

Jason said he would try to get Jonah back to Cathy if she wants, but he is going to wait for her to ask. He isn't going to volunteer. I don't know if she will ask or not. She is pretty bitter over the court stuff, still.

I think she might have been in labor when he talked to her on the phone. I don't know why she didn't say something then. she doesn't make any sense at all to me. She is too stubborn to talk to Jason like he is a human since the court date. I think she thought it was going to go her way and she got a rude awakening. Now, she can't even be civil to Jason. I don't know how long this will continue, but apparently she can hold a pretty big grudge!

Anyway, I am sure there will be more drama to follow...
