I am so excited to get started on our project! I am hoping we are the first job the contractor does this year. He has 3 projects, so I want to be first! I am ready to break ground and get started. We got our final bid today and I think everything is a go. At least, on my end it is a go! Jason is at work, so he will have to review everything once he gets home!
I thought I would post some pics of what our tired house looks like now. I will be taking pictures during the whole process... so keep watching!
This is the front of our house... there isn't going to be much change to it other than the siding and the shutters.
This is the north side of our house. It currently does not have any windows, but once our addition is done, we are also adding 3 windows down this side.
The final is the back of our house.
This is where most of the changes are going to be. We are moving our back door to the right about 5 feet or so. The addition is going to be the upper and lower levels on the 2-story end. We may have to change our deck a little, but at this time, I am not quite sure what we are doing with it.so, I am ready to break ground. I am hoping for June... I would hope for May, but I know our contractor is a busy man!

I'm so happy for you! Your house will look awesome when the addition is completed & you'll have so much more space! The house is so pretty now that I can't even picture the addition... can't wait to see it!

I do not even know you and I am jealous. We have a four level split, with 7 of us in it. I would give anything to have more room.You look like you have a bit of acreage, lucky you. I found you from Tonyas blog I believe.

Good Luck and congrats on the expansion. Can I borrow some of that green grass. Mine seems to have disappeared under a pile of sand lol.
