Our week

This week has been so busy! Monday- we met with the bank. I don't think we will have any trouble getting the loan. We are refinancing the amt we have left on our current mortgage and adding the cost of the new addition. Our debt to income ratio is still pretty good, but it is at a level that makes my husband uncomfortable! He has always tried to live debt free. There are times he has had debt... but for the most part, he tries not to. We need the extra space adding on will give us. We will now have 5 bedrooms upstairs (1more than I planned for) but if in time one of the twins doesn't want to share a room anymore, we have that option. Also if Jonah ever wanted his own room then we could do that as well.

We opted to not finish the new part of the basement. They are going to rough in for a bathroom, but Jason and I are going to attempt to finish it in a few years. It cuts down our cost not to make the contractors do it. So, they are just finishing the upstairs. We went and looked at siding, shingles and windows yesterday to pick all that out. We won't know about our loan until the end of may... so I have time to really decide what we are going to do. We have brick part way up the front of our house and siding on the rest. It was originally blue siding, but I think i would like to do a sandstone or cream color with blue shutters and door. Jason isn't convinced he will like it. He thinks cream has too much yellow in it. The sandstone is ok... so we will see what we end up with!

We are looking into selling our camper as we would like to put down a pretty good down payment! Which, Jason is working like a mad man to have extra money! Which, puts extra strain on everything around here since I am out numbered!

The state took my ex-husband to court sometime in Feb and he owes me over $7000+ in back childsupport! However, he still isn't paying any of it! Which, adds more stress!

I went and played cards with a group of girls I went to school with. It was fun and realy nice and just to have time away... I could actually talk and just relax! They are wanting to meet once a month, which will be a nice little break!

Jonah is a little better. He is still coughing. I have been giving him the claritin and he maybe has a little less coughing. I still think it is allergies. However it is hard to monitor when he is only with us 1 week a month! Makes it even harder when I can't control what his mom does in South Dakota.

Well, it is naptime here...

I praying so hard for you that the loan comes through, that you are able to sell the camper and you get the child support owed. It would be so nice if you could finish the addition.

Hope everything works out and that this stress can be done with!!! It sounds like it really will be a wonderful addition. Glad Jonah is feeling a little better!!

Hope this week is a little less eventful than the last! Hopefully Jonah will continue to improve & hopefully everything will come together for the addition. Then maybe you can have a little space of your own!
