Well, day two of construction, they got all the siding off the house and off 2 sides of the garage.

They did get the dumpster out here to throw stuff in.

We are really hoping it doesn't rain until they get the new siding back on.

However, I know they are doing more insulation and house wrap, so I am not sure how long we will be without siding. It sure makes a big difference in our house. I keep our thermostat set at 77 degrees and normally that keeps our house really cool.

Since our siding is off, our house feels much warmer and our air is running more! I am anxious for the new siding to go on!

We had to go yesterday to Peoria to pick out our tub/shower for upstairs and a jetted tub/shower for downstairs. It was a completely pointless trip as they only had 1 option and the same one comes jetted or not jetted! Kind of ticked me off since gas is so high and we had to drive an hour away to get told they have 1 tub and they are going to use the same model tub for both upstairs and downstairs... just one will have jets! We made it a productive trip as we went to Sam's Club and stocked up on our everyday stuff. We also started our morning out with a visitation. Jason's good friend Brian, his mom passed away unexpectedly and her services were yesterday. We went to visitation and then had to hurry to Peoria. Jason did treat us to a wonderful lunch at Olive Garden, my favorite place. The boys were very well behaved and since the twins stayed with Grandma Janice our trip to Peoria was quick and efficient! Jason has vowed he will never take the twins back to Olive Garden until they are older and learn how to sit up there and eat!
Cadie yesterday morning wouldn't eat anything except half of a cereal bar for breakfast. I wasn't too concerned over one missed meal and Grandma Janice reassured me they ate ok for lunch. When we got home last noc I noticed Cadie has another red spot appearing on her bottom, for the THIRD time! Then I noticed she felt a little hot and I checked her temperature and sure enough, she was 100.6! As the noc went on, she wouldn't eat supper, she did snack on some Gerber Graduate Crunchies, however, she didn't eat much. I gave her Tylenol which barely brought her temp down for 2 hours and it was back up even higher. Then I noticed Courtney had a temp and she is equally as cranky and out of sorts! I am not sure if this is a virus that is going to have to run its course or if they need to go to the doctor. I am waiting out today to see which direction they are going to take with this illness.
To add to our stress of sick babies, we had 2 ball games Monday night and Tuesday noc! I think Annie has a game tonight, but I don't think we are going to make that one. Thursday we have a game and a practice to attend! I will be so glad when summer ball is over!

Congrats on the construction going smoothly so far. Your house looks so funny w/o the siding! Hope the girls get to feeling better soon! I can't believe they're sick again... tell them to get better... we miss them!
Construction looks like it's coming along nicely.
I just recently came across your blog!!
Our situations are very similar. Yours, mine and ours!! We have 3 older ones and 3 younger ones (which include a set of girl twins).
