getting closer every day!

So, our construction progress is getting one step closer to completion every day! The closer it gets to being done, the more anxious I am for it to be done! We have now picked out flooring, paint and have the basic idea of how we want the rooms to look when we are all done!
The bathroom tiles came in today and Jason's mom went and picked them up for us. They are going to begin to put the floor in the bathroom tomorrow...
the drywallers maybe have some finally sanding to do, but over all, the joints are mudded and smoothed and the ceiling is sprayed.

The twins room is ready for finally sanding as well and then painted and have wainscotting put up. I have no idea when or how we are going to get this all done, but I have hope that it will just come together!

The boys will now be in what use to be our room. They cut a window in the north wall and boarded up the window that was in the east side...
the poor boys... their room is so tore up and this is what their bed looks like.... since we now have taken down the bisqueen and have access into the new addition, at noc we do take the plastic off so the boys can sleep in there.

The long hallway is also ready for finally sanding and painting and hopefully a hardwood floor! We are still waiting for a quote on a price and hoping that my cousin's the Corsaws can install it soon!

To me... the most exciting and biggest change is the siding! Our house has had blue siding since the Wilhelm's built the house! I thought the blue siding didn't add any pizzazz to our beautiful home! We have gorgeous brick all along the front and many times, it is completely missed b/c everyone just saw the old tired blue siding! Jason and I finally decided on heritage cream siding. We are going to do a navy blue accent with the shutters and the doors. I really love this color and I am so anxious to see it all put together! We have also updated our outside lights as well. The only ones we were able to put up so far is the ones on the brick as that is one of the areas that isn't being changed!

As if our yard didn't have enough big brown hills and spots and mud... now the front yard is getting it's turn! The guys are now working on the geothermal system we are putting in...
We are very anxious to get the geothermal system in and running! I love having the opportunity to make a difference with our carbon blueprint, and be apart of a generation of change! God Bless my energy conscious husband!
