progress

Late Thurs our construction crews were finishing up for the day and our contractor accidently backed over one of our oak trees. We planted the twin oak trees the day we got married. We planted 2 of them for the twins I was carrying...
We got pics of the girls with their poor little broken tree...We are going to attempt to move it to the wooded area on his dads land. I hope that it will continue to grow, but it took a pretty big hit.

the roof is framed in and the crew has been working on weather proofing and putting on the shingles...
we took the twins up to the new addition and got these early pics of them in their new room...

Friday, the new windows are in...

This is looking at our two rooms... ours and the twins...

this is the view out the twins bedroom...

This is the view out the northside of our house. We haven't ever had a view out the northside, so this is pretty cool to us...

The twins have been sick lately, I assumed they had strep throat since Sammy has strep about 10 days ago. Then yesterday I noticed a rash on Courtney... and today it is forming on Cadie! We took them to the doctor and they said it is hand, foot and mouth disease. GREAT! So they have been very cranky and needy! Jason's sister is home and has been a big help when it comes to managing the twins and the older kids! It is so nice to have the extra help!
Cadie has spent most her time like this...

Courtney however, climbed into the crib so she could use it like a trampoline!
It always amazes me what a climber Courtney is!

On a sad note... a guy that Jason works with at the power plant was killed while mountain biking in Colorado. This has hit Jason pretty hard as this guy was a key engineer at the power plant. Dave Tomlinson was a great guy and held lots of knowledge of the power plant. He will be hugely missed. His wife, Bert works at the hospital where I do and we worked together during the years I was in the lab. I can't even imagine the pain she is going through now. I pray that God will look after her and carry her through this tough time.

The construction looks like it is going so fast! WOW! It looks FANTASTIC!

I am so very sorry about the loss of jason's friend. How sad.

I'm sorry about the oak tree, I hope it continues to grow. That's something that would break my heart.

I can't believe how quickly the construction is coming along and the beautiful greenery you can see from your house.
