that gate replaced this one...
the kids would knock this gate down all. the. time! It got old quick and the twins got good at knocking the gate down and ransacking the kitchen!
Imagine my bliss for about 6 weeks until one day I seen Courtney do this...
I waited to see if she could manage to get on over....
and of course... she could!
Back to square one!

OH MY GOoooodness!!
What a little stinker...was she totally laughing when she made it over????
My son Andrew used to crawl over his baby gate ALL the time. So what I did was lift the gate about an inch off the ground and that worked. He couldn't get over it anymore. It made it harder for us to get over it too. eek! Now you might as well not even try. Your darned if you do either way.
Ah-ha-ha-ha!!! The little booger finally got over that gate! I knew it was only a matter of time... guess you'll have to get another one of the tall gates if you want to keep her in the pin!
Ha ha! That is exactly what my two climbers started doing...so that's when I finally took the gates down and let them in the kitchen. But not before I put latches on all the cupboard so they couldn't ransack it :) Good luck!
My time out seat would be hot if my kids even THINK about trying that! They CAN climb over, but I talk really mean about the gate and they're afraid to even try to escape at will from the playroom LOL!
Though cribs are another story- Alli will absolutely not sleep in her crib unless she goes into it asleep. She actually slept in her closet the other night with all her "babies" (stuffed bears and kitties) so I thought, who am I to wake a sleeping baby?? So just covered her up!
