finish up of yesterday

our day was cramed so full of events that I am posting the rest of it today...

after school, my bunch of whiny and fighting children all took naps... mommy even had a little nap as well (though I wanted to throw the phone through the window a few times when people called me!) however, I was able to nap close to an hour and that does make a huge difference in my mood!

I went about waking up the big kids first (annie graciously ignores me to the last minute) and then went about waking, changing and dressing the twins. Once that task was done, I changed into jeans (so I wouldn't blind and scare the horses - or nearby people - with my white stubbly legs). I yell for Annie one last time that we are walking out the door.. I hear her feet hit the floor and out the door she flies! We run to Cuba to pick up her friend Skyler and rush to Canton to meet up with Jen.

What is the rush about? The Budweiser Horses were going to be hitched and deliver beer to the local bars! Ok... normally, this doesn't sound like something Jason and I would involve children in... but it is THE BUDWEISER HORSES!!!!! I'm almost as giddy over them as Annie is! There is just something cool about hooking up a bunch of horses and watching them trot down a street (delievering beer no less...)! they sure polish every inch of the wagon!
The slowly and steadily got the horses out and began hitching them up to the wagon
we watched this process for a little while, but the twins got antsy and was ready to view something else. We walked up the road for a little bit and then found a nice curb to sit on...
as we were sitting there, all of a sudden we heard clop, clop, clop, clop....
then whooosh seemed like those horses were on the move and they weren't wasting any time! Once they went by, I gathered up the twins and headed for air conditioning at McDonalds! Check out Jen's blog as I know she will have an awesome post about it as well with many more pictures!

Later in the evening, Annie comes to me...
Annie: "just pull it..." (notible whine)

Mom: "do I have to?"

A: "yesss... I can't do it! Look it is over half detached"

M: (attempting not to gag) "then just PULL IT!"

A: "noooooo... I can't! You do it! Puhleeeeasse?"

M: "oh fine, come here!" (gritting teeth and really trying NOT to gag)

YANK! POP! and in my fingers is this bloody tooth!
Annie went running off to the bathroom to inspect the bleeding I am guessing.
I have no idea how many teeth Annie has lost... but this was her first baby molar gone! Every time I turn around there is another sign of this girl growing up... and this is another! Though, I guess as long as she still has teeth to pull.. she will still need me! Teeth pulling is my LEAST favorite job as a parent. I don't know why, but I find it really gross.
