I loved going through the old pics! I have known Jason's family for as long as I can remember. His Grandma and my Grandma were best friends. I even worked with Jason's Grandma at a nursing home years and years ago! So, I loved going down memory lane and looking at the pics Jacey had posted! Thanks Jacey!
Im going to guess this pic is from 1985 or 1986...

Jason, Jannea, Janice and John.
When I first posted this pic, I did it bc I liked it. Jason and I got to talking b/c I thought I recognized the farm in the background. Which, I did. However, there is more to this picture than meets the eye... and more than the farm in the background.
This pic was taken before John and Janice left to join the mission. They had someone take this picture, prints were made and handed out. In this day and age of technology, that is easy to do. However, back in 1986... it took a little more work than what it does now-a-days.
Now that I know the history behind this picture, it is even more meaningful to me.

Happy WBW!!!
I love old pictures as well!
Look at those tow heads! :) And love how we both worked the similar farm fence theme! ;) Great picture.
Thank you so much for playing along with Way Back When-esday, Christy!
Was this taken around 85??? Jannea & I were born in 80 & she looks like she's maybe 5 or 6... not sure which. You know what's funny??? I remember having this pic hanging on my fridge when I was a kid! Isn't that hilarious??? I think Janice had given one to my parent's. I totally remember Jannea & Jason having that blond hair but I don't remember Janice & John looking so young... wow! They look like kids themselves!
Love to see the blast from the past pics. They are the best!
What a great old photo! LOVE that blonde blonde hair!
