Halloween pics of years gone by...

As I have been cleaning out the cabinet where I kept my Stampin' UP stuff... I ran across a big box full of old photos.
They are nice and neatly labeled... (of course, this was done before the twins)! Anyway, I thought I would share some pics from Halloween past...

Annie and Sammy from Halloween 2003...

Even though these are store bought costumes, I still thought the kids were so cute! Sammy was Buzz Lightyear and Annie was a Barbie princess... I tried to do her hair up in a bun... of course it didn't turn out quite right... but, I tried!

Halloween 2002...

This is JM, Annie, Hope and Sammy. I use to take the kids to my Aunt Mary's (Hope's mom) and we would trick or treat around Fiatt. It is a very small community made of of people who have lived there most their lives. It is a very safe place to trick or treat and the kids loved going with Hope!

Annie dressed up as a Chicago Bears Cheerleader in 2001...

I must admit, this was one of my favorite costumes!

Annie and Michael Brillhart, Halloween 2000...

Michael was the big blue dragon from Dragontails and Annie was Piglet! This picture was taken when we were living on Ft. Benning. Michael's mom, Melissa was the first person to talk to us when we were moving in. Her husband Brian helped my husband at the time, move some heavy furniture from our appt where we had been living. They were so kind and Melissa and I got to be great friends. Since then she has moved all over and got divorced and was last living in Arizona.

Way back When-esday!

Yeah! It is one of my favorite days!
Time to show off some old pics... since this week is Halloween... here are some pics from Halloweens gone by...

First up is from Halloween 2003...

This is Annie and Sammy just before we went out for the evening. Sammy was Buzz Lightyear and Annie was some Barbie princess.

Next one I had to share is from Halloween 2002.

This was Sammy's first year to really dress up. He was about 22mo in this picture. Close to the same age the twins are now! He was a cowboy!
Finally, this picture goes along with the one of Sammy.

This is JM, Annie and Hope. Sammy is also in the picture, but you can barely see him hiding out over on the right hand side! I think this was JM's last year to dress up and go trick or treating. He thought he was too old for such antics. He was 9 at the time!

Hope on over to Twinfatuation to join in the fun!

Sammy has stitches!

Friday was a big day for us. It was our homecoming and the kids were in the parade. Amazingly, I don't have one picture of them! I spent my time running the video camera! Somedays, I sure wish I had 4 arms!
I am sure my best friend Jen will either send me pics or have them here. Jen to the rescue! Thanks Jen!!!

This is my dad's truck...

Sammy was throwing candy from the back and my oldest son was sitting in the passenger seat throwing out candy...

We had lots of fun at the parade, the 3 little girls sure had a blast picking up candy!

Annie got to ride her dad's horse in the parade and she sure thought she was big stuff! I am so proud of her.
This is a huge accomplishment to be able to handle a horse in a parade!

I am so glad that she got to ride in the parade and that Lucky did so well!

After the parade was over, Annie and Sammy went with their grandparents and Jason and I came home. About the time I was getting ready to go to the game and Jason had left for work, I got a call that Sammy got hurt from Diana, his dad's girlfriend!
My aunt and my mom went out to see if he was ok. Which, he was, but he needed to have stitches. My aunt brought him to me, my M-I-L came and sat with the twins and my aunt and I took Sammy to ER.

He was very brave, didn't even cry. First, they cleaned it, then they put stuff on it to constrict the blood vessels. After the TACK had time to set up, the doctor came in and with a very tiny needle, put 6 stitches in Sammy's forehead. I had Sammy hold my hands and my aunt had him count... he got up to about the 130's and the procedure was all done! Dr. Hemp even told him to come back anytime to be stitched he was such a good patient!

Since Sammy did such a good job, he got to go to McDonald's and eat. Once we got home he settled into the couch and went right to sleep. I think it was a big day for us all.

Friday Foto Fiesta

It is Friday again! Time for Candid Carrie's Phriday Photo Phiesta!
First up... Jason and the girls on the 4 wheeler. This is the first time both girls have been on the 4 wheeler and the first time Cadie has ever been on it! (Courtney's first ride was Father's Day... while Cadie slept)

notice the expression on Cadie's face. She was so determined... and ready to go!
And there they go...

the girls had a blast! They love riding (same as their mommy)!

This one has nothing to do with the above pictures, but I couldn't wait to share it.

JM came out the other day so I could get some much needed painting started. He cuddled up with the girls in their little cubby hole (in front of the tv) and they watched and sang along! I know tv isn't the best entertainment, but I love the NOGGIN channel! He is such a great big brother! He sure loves the twins and is so good with them! I just wanted to capture the love....

run on over to Candid Carrie's blog to check out more great pics
